As a long-time music lover, this blog is to share more obscure items that I've come across over the years, I listen to a lot of different genres (from classical & pop to thrash and death metal) and love discovering "new" music and also sharing with others. Hopefully you'll find something you like.

Dance/Electronica
Hard Rock
Pop-Punk
Metal

Dance/Electronica
Little Boots - Remedy

Notes: Heard this last time I was in England when it came out and still can't get enough. The submarine radar "ping" is a great touch.

Felix da Housecat - Rocket Ride
Notes: Don't even know what to say...just quirky & fun. Heard this while trying on snowboard boots one day...random enough?

Juliet - Avalon
Notes: The soundtrack for the classic Russian Ice Tunnel video...what more need be said? If you haven't seen it: Russian Ice Tunnel

Hard Rock
Red Sky Mary - Gone / Red Witch
Notes: So good they deserve two entries. These guys have an infectious 70's groove and Sam (vocals) has those rare pipes that only come around once in a blue moon. Hailing from the great state of Cow Hampshire.

Sheavy - Electric Sleep
Notes: This is the first song I heard from them back in the Napster days and it was erroneously labelled "rare Black Sabbath track" or some shit like that...one listen and you can see how that mistake is possible. Canadian Black Sabbath \m/

Roxxi - Drive It To Ya Hard
Notes: Worcester, MA best export - excellent vocals and axe work. Keep an eye out for the WAAF shirt.

Lucifer's Friend - Ride The Sky
Notes: Sabbath's cousin in the 70's

Pop-Punk
Sahara Hotnights - Hot Night Crash

Notes: A more Swedish, more "classy" Donnas with hooks-a-plenty

Guitar Gangsters - Going To London
Notes: These guys couldn't write a bad song if they tried - check out their 'Best of'

Metal
Sargant Fury - Eagle
Notes: killer German metal from early 90s; check out their 'Anthology'

Hobbs Angel of Death - Crucifixion
Notes: A must-have in any metal collection - Aussie Metal at its best!
